As you may have heard, OSHA passed the new GHS Regulation (globally harmonized system of classification and labeling of chemicals) last week. This is the biggest thing to come out of OSHA in a very long time. It involves major changes to the HazCom Standard, which involves chemical labels, MSDSs, and more.
While companies have until December 2013 to comply, they can also voluntarily comply immediately. To address the immediate need, we have posted a new course to the safety library in the BLR Employee Training Center -- Understanding the Safety Data Sheet. We have also posted this course to Safety.BLR.com, which is an update of the Understanding the New Safety Data Sheet (SDS) course.
